Character. Purity. Color. And service with a smile.
Offspring is what defines the quality of the sire. Take one look in our fields and birthing pastures and you’ll see suri genetic purity at its finest. Our breeding philosophy is based on 25 years of selective breeding, and since we were the first breeders to import National Champions alpacas from South America to the United States, we keep our standards extremely high. That simply means you get the best service money can buy.

ILLIMANI'S PRIMO

Illimani's Primo was class champion and Reserve Color Champion white male at AOBA in 2000. We leased him in 2002 and 2003 from Drs.Julie Jarvinen and

Bill Hedberg, in Ames Iowa. While we are known as a colored breeding program, we have leased an outstanding male each year and bred to

five of our best white females. I think it is fair to say we put Primo on

the map in 2003 with crias like Sweet 16, Top Ten, Teeny Bikini and

Va Va Voom. Primo's well formed lock, gentle personality and flat top line continue to influence our herd through his 2004 production.

PERUVIAN MIGUEL G4541

In 2002 we leased Miguel from our good friends Dick and Nancy

Walker of Super Suri alpacas in Spokane, Washington. Dick was recently elected president of the Suri Network. We exchanged breeding with the Walkers, using their well-proven Peruvian male, Miguel in exchange for use of our true black Bolivian male Inspiration.  Dick and Nancy produced a stunning black and silver gray for their efforts and we added to national class whites to our herd, Aracelli Rose and Sweet Talk.

KING KONG

W We bred five colored females to the most famous black suri alpaca

in the USA, King Kong, owned by our good friends Daphne and the late Craig Aurness. King Kong is managed by Cindy Harris in Moore Park, CA.   King Kong was for several years the most valuable male alpaca, huacaya or suri, in the United States. Craig and Daphne have purchased some of their most noteworthy suris from us, including the 2003 national color champion, Gift Wrap. We are excited to see what King Kong can do for us next summer.

Many of our herdsires are available for lease or purchase.
