Character. Purity. Color. And service with a smile.
Offspring is what defines the quality of the sire. Take one look in our fields and birthing pastures and you’ll see suri genetic purity at its finest. Our breeding philosophy is based on 25 years of selective breeding, and since we were the first breeders to import National Champions alpacas from South America to the United States, we keep our standards extremely high. That simply means you get the best service money can buy.

SUPERFINE

We think enough of Superfine that he will probably become Cosmo's replacement. His dam is one of our best-colored females, and a son like Superfine is how we put a great female onto our herd. When I walked into the ring at AOBA, judge Susan Tellez noticed the un-interrupted connection between his topknot, cheek wool, neck and front leg wool.   Those are the same characteristics I expect he will pass onto his crias.

Superfine 2nd at AOBA in 2003 in a class of 42 brown juvenile males.

2nd place TB juvenile male, 2003 Alpaca Western Extravaganza.

LEBRON OF PVA

We purchased Lebron in lively bidding at the 2004 Futurity. We sold Dave and Nancy TenHulzen their first suri alpaca, Laura in 1994, and two national champions, Ga Ga and Hot Toddy in 2001. We were proud to return the favor by buying this great Kobe son from them. We believe strongly in the power of the distaff (dam) to influence the phenotype of a sons production, and Lebron's dam, Nova, a Pperuvian Angel daughter is as impressive in her own right as Kobe. With ten TB, BB or Brown ancestors in his pedigree, Lebron will reinforce the coverage and fineness we already have in our next generation of black suris.

TOP OF THE CLASS

Cheryl and I have learned to believe in the power of the dam to influence the next generation of crias. While Top of the Class is a TB Blessed by Thunder son, we are keeping him because of his dam, which was one of the modest radical, drippy, drapey suri's of the entire 1998 importation.   His fleece lays very close to the skin, even on his re-growth. Luster, luster, luster. Such a cool slick handle, he slips through your fingers when you catch him. He placed below Ego Boost during the 2004 show season, and was really too suri (greasy) for the judges who were looking only for a twisted lock rather than true suri character. He is a male who will add suri character to a colored breeding program that may be loosing it.

2004 AWE, 2nd place Juvenal true black male.

2004 AOBA, 5th pace juvenile true black suri male in class of 12 of the best black males in the country .
